Emily Simpson, a star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," has revealed that her friend Gina Kirschenheiter and her fiancé, Travis Mullen, have already finalized a prenuptial agreement. Simpson shared this information during an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea.”
“She already got that,” Simpson stated, acknowledging that she might have disclosed more than intended. Kirschenheiter, 42, and Mullen, 41, began their relationship in 2019 and became engaged in Big Bear in December 2025. Both individuals have three children from previous marriages.
While the engagement has been announced, wedding planning appears to be in its early stages. Simpson noted Kirschenheiter’s enthusiasm for the engagement and the ring, but observed that the energy seems to wane when discussions turn to wedding details or dates. "She was super excited about the engagement, and she’s super excited about the ring, and she’s super excited to show people the ring," Simpson said. "But then when you ask her about the wedding planning or when the wedding is, it just fizzles."
Simpson expressed a desire for Kirschenheiter to share the same level of excitement for wedding planning as she has for the engagement itself. "I don’t want her to be excited just about the ring, but then not have that same excitement about planning the wedding and picking a date and going through with it," Simpson added.
Simpson also questioned if Kirschenheiter was being “fair” to Mullen by delaying the nuptials, emphasizing the need for the couple to be “on the same page.”
The couple has navigated challenges, including Mullen and his children temporarily moving out of their shared home due to relationship difficulties with the mother of his children. However, they later moved into a new house together.
Kirschenheiter recently told Page Six that wedding planning is not a current priority. The couple is focusing on building their real estate agency and preparing to support six children through college. "I’m making boss moves right now, and I’m really enjoying that," Kirschenheiter said. "I’d rather invest in myself and my business and all of that instead of a party right now." She added that once she achieves more of her goals, she intends to "throw a rager."
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET, with new episodes available for streaming the following day on Peacock.
