Emily Atack celebrated her second wedding ceremony to scientist Alistair Garner with a lively reception in Mojacar, Spain. The "Rivals" actress, 36, exchanged vows with Garner, 40, for the second time on Saturday in the courtyard of a 16th-century church.
Following the ceremony, which took place in 30-degree heat with guests standing under parasols, the celebration moved to Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Atack changed from her off-the-shoulder wedding gown into a floral print dress and took to the microphone to address the guests. She was later seen kissing her new husband as they danced to Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" and encouraged guests to join them for a singalong.
The reception featured a three-course meal, with starter options of cod risotto or mandarin sorbet, and a main course of shredded suckling pig. Desserts included mango mousse. Tables were named after the word "love" in various languages.
The celebration was held in Mojacar, a location significant to Atack as she spent childhood holidays there with her father. Among the guests were fellow "Rivals" castmates David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Rufus Jones, Bella Maclean, and Victoria Smurfit, along with the show's writer Dominic Treadwell-Collins and producer Felicity Tucci.
Comedians Keith Lemon and Katherine Ryan were also in attendance. Notably absent from the "Rivals" cast were Aidan Turner and Danny Dyer.
Atack and Garner had their first wedding ceremony three weeks prior at her local church in Bedfordshire, followed by a garden party.
