Emily Atack and scientist Dr. Alistair Garner celebrated their second wedding in the picturesque courtyard of a 16th Century church in Mojacar, Spain. The ceremony took place under sweltering 30-degree heat, with parasols provided for the approximately 50 friends and family in attendance.

Among the guests were Atack's co-stars from "Rivals," including Alex Hassell, Bella McClean, and Victoria Smurfit. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a three-course dinner in the courtyard, set beneath the canopy of a Ficus Benjamina tree adorned with fairy lights. A DJ booth was also set up for dancing.

This Spanish celebration follows a more intimate civil ceremony that the couple held at their local church in Bedfordshire three weeks prior, which was then followed by a reception at their home. For the Spanish event, up to 200 guests were invited to celebrate the nuptials for a second time in the whitewashed hilltop town.

Preparations for the wedding day included flowers being arranged around the courtyard and chairs being set up for the procession. Supplies of Cava, beer, wine, and spirits were delivered to two adjoining restaurants that the couple had rented for the occasion. Atack, 36, was seen the day before, dressed in a vintage floral dress and sunglasses, showing family and friends the venue and participating in a run-through of the ceremony.

Atack's father, musician Keith Atack, and mother, actress and comedian Kate Robbins, were also part of the wedding party. Atack, who has a two-year-old son with Garner, has previously expressed her dream of marrying in Mojacar, a place she frequented during childhood summers at her father's property. "It's our favourite place on Earth," she stated.

Guests like Alex Hassell, who starred with Atack in "Rivals," arrived with his wife, Emma King. Victoria Smurfit was also spotted hiring a car at Almeria airport with her husband, Steve Jacobs, and Rufus Jones, who plays Atack's husband in "Rivals," was seen sightseeing with his wife, Philippa Allam.
