Emily Atack Wears White for Second Wedding to Alistair Garner in Spain
The actress exchanged vows with her partner in front of friends and family.
Emily Atack became emotional at the altar during her recent wedding to Alistair Garner in Spain. The star exchanged vows for the second time with her husband earlier this month in the courtyard of a 16th-century church in Mojacar.
Friend Laura Whitmore shared unseen photographs from the ceremony, including one capturing Atack wiping away tears as she prepared to say her vows. The wedding was attended by 197 friends and family.
Fellow celebrity guests, including Katherine Ryan and actress Victoria Smurfit, were present. Whitmore also shared behind-the-scenes glimpses, including Atack having her makeup touched up and her husband, Iain Stirling, holding espresso martinis.
Atack and scientist Alistair Garner have a long-standing connection, having known each other since childhood. Alistair's late father, Stephen, was married to Atack's aunt, Jane Garner, in the early 1990s.
David Eagle, a comedian and musician known for his work on The Emily Atack Show, served as the registrar for the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, the couple walked through a rose petal shower, led a champagne toast, and mingled with guests. The reception included a three-course meal, with options for starters including cod risotto or mandarin sorbet. Guests enjoyed champagne before transitioning to an evening of partying.
The newlyweds were photographed pouring champagne over a tower of glasses. Attendees from the Disney+ series included David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Rufus Jones, Bella Maclean, and Victoria Smurfit, who were seen dancing. Felicity Blunt and her husband Stanley Tucci were also in attendance.
Notable absences included Aidan Turner and Danny Dyer. It was previously reported that Atack's ITV gameshow, Nobody's Fool, with Dyer was canceled after one season.
After the wedding festivities, Atack and Garner enjoyed a honeymoon in Port Isaac, Cornwall, with their son, Barney. Atack shared photos from their trip, describing it as 'restful' and detailing activities like playing Scrabble and watching movies.
