Emily Atack Marries Alistair Garner in Spanish Wedding
The British actress celebrated her second wedding ceremony with scientist Alistair Garner in Mojácar, Spain, with family and co-stars in attendance.
Emily Atack and Alistair Garner exchanged vows in a second wedding ceremony held in Mojácar, Spain. The couple, who previously married in the UK last month, celebrated with 197 friends and family in the courtyard of a 16th-century church.
Atack's parents, actress Kate Robbins and musician Keith Atack, shared their joy on Instagram following the event. Keith Atack posted a photo of himself escorting his daughter to the venue, describing the weekend as "one of the greatest weekends of our lives." Kate Robbins shared a photo taken after the festivities, noting she was "too busy" during the wedding day itself but managed a picture with her daughter a couple of days later.
Emily Atack and Alistair Garner have a long-standing connection, having known each other since childhood. Garner's late father was married to Atack's aunt.
Comedian and musician David Eagle, who has collaborated with Atack on her ITV2 show, officiated the ceremony. Following the vows, the couple walked through rose petals, led a champagne toast, and mingled with guests. Attendees enjoyed a three-course meal, with options including cod risotto or mandarin sorbet. The celebration continued into the night with guests dancing and the couple pouring champagne over a tower of glasses.
Several co-stars from Atack's Disney+ series were present, including David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Rufus Jones, Bella Maclean, and Victoria Smurfit. Executive producer Felicity Blunt, accompanied by her husband Stanley Tucci, also attended. Notably absent were Aidan Turner and Danny Dyer, the latter following the cancellation of Atack's gameshow "Nobody's Fool" after one season. Former castmates from "The Inbetweeners," the franchise that launched Atack's career as Charlotte Hinchcliffe, were also not in attendance.
