Actress Emily Atack recently shared moments from a "restful" honeymoon in Port Isaac, a fishing village in Cornwall, alongside her husband Alistair Garner and their son Barney. The trip followed recent wedding ceremonies, including a church wedding in Berkshire and another in Mojacar, Spain.
Documenting the getaway on Instagram, Atack posted images of herself relaxing in their rented cottage and exploring the town with her family. She described their time as "restful," noting activities like playing Scrabble, cooking, and watching Disney films, humorously remarking that they "behaved like a couple who’d been married for about 40 years."
Atack and Garner, a scientist, have a history dating back to childhood, as Garner's late father married Atack's aunt in the early 1990s. Their wedding in Mojacar was attended by 197 friends and family, with comedian David Eagle serving as the registrar. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a three-course meal and celebrated into the night.
The festivities included guests like David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Rufus Jones, Bella Maclean, and Victoria Smurfit from the Disney+ series. Executive producer Felicity Blunt and her husband Stanley Tucci were also present. Notable absences included Aidan Turner and Danny Dyer, following the recent news that Atack's ITV gameshow "Nobody's Fool" was dropped after one season.
There was also mention of potential casting news regarding "The Inbetweeners," which was reportedly returning for a third film, though Atack's potential involvement remained unclear. Set photos from the upcoming film showed cast members shooting a wedding scene, with some new faces also spotted on set.
