Emily Atack Celebrates Lavish Second Wedding in Spain

Emily Atack marked her wedding to Alistair Gardner with a lavish celebration in Mojacar, Spain, described by the actress as a 'big, fat, f***-off party.' The couple, who had a UK ceremony last month, held a second wedding in the courtyard of a 16th-century church, attended by approximately 197 friends and family.

The reception featured a free-flowing supply of champagne, with guests seen quaffing the beverage from coupe glasses. Atack and Gardner were photographed pouring bottles of champagne over a tower of glasses.

A host of Atack's co-stars from the Disney+ series 'The Rivals' were present, including David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Rufus Jones, Bella Maclean, and Victoria Smurfit, all of whom were pictured dancing. Also in attendance was executive producer Felicity Blunt and her husband, actor Stanley Tucci.

Tucci was seen playfully interacting with Blunt, with one photo capturing him with his hand on her chest amidst a group on the dancefloor. The couple shared their first dance, with Gardner lifting Atack around his waist as they spun.

Guests arrived at the reception venue via a coach adorned with 'Emily & Alistair' lights. At the ceremony, Atack was walked down the aisle by her father, Keith Atack, who opted for flip-flops for the occasion. The registrar, comedian and musician David Eagle, acknowledged the déjà vu, referencing the couple's recent UK wedding.

Atack wore a veil and an off-the-shoulder gown with a long train. After the ceremony, guests experienced a two-hour wait for Atack's arrival at the drinks reception. Following a rose petal shower and champagne toast, attendees enjoyed a three-course meal.

Starter options included cod risotto or mandarin sorbet, followed by shredded suckling pig with pumpkin compote and roasted apples. Dessert was mango mousse with nougat ice cream and raspberry coulis. Coffee and rum on the rocks were also served. The seating chart featured tables named after the word 'Love' in various languages.

Notable attendees included 'Rivals' writer Dominic Treadwell-Collins, and presenters Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling. Among the notable absences were Aidan Turner and Danny Dyer, following the news that Atack's ITV gameshow 'Nobody's Fool' had been canceled after one season. It was also noted that former castmates from 'The Inbetweeners,' the show that brought Atack fame, were not present, despite recent announcements of a third film.
