Emily Atack has described her August as "a bit of alright" following her recent marriage to Alistair Garner. The actress, 36, tied the knot with Garner, 40, two weeks prior to sharing a collection of photos on Instagram documenting the month's events.
Among the shared moments was a picture from her wedding day, where she is seen next to her wedding cake adorned with figures of herself and Garner. She also shared a mirror selfie showcasing her figure in a black bra and leggings, and another image of herself in a black and white leotard. The photo album also included snapshots of her enjoying drinks in her garden and a photo taken on stage with a studio in the background.
Wedding Celebrations
The couple celebrated their marriage with a party at their Bedfordshire home. Atack wore a Josephine Scott wedding dress, described as the "Juliette" gown, featuring a plunging neckline and lace detailing on the sleeves, paired with a floor-length veil and a diamond-encrusted headband. Garner wore a black suit. Following the ceremony, they were transported to their wedding breakfast in a vintage silver car. Their reception featured a McDonald's McFlurry ice cream van for guests.
Atack announced the wedding on Instagram, stating, "Yesterday we officially got married among close family and friends. It was absolutely perfect." She also mentioned plans for a second wedding celebration in Spain. "I can't believe we get to do all that again in a few weeks time. Christ, we have fun don't we," she wrote.
Family and Friends
The celebrations included a boozy evening with friends, during which Garner serenaded the group on his guitar. More intimate moments included enjoying ice lollies with their son, Barney, who is two years old, and a holiday with Atack's mother, Kate Robbins.
Future Plans
Atack previously shared details about a planned second wedding ceremony abroad, which she described as a "fat, f***-off party." She indicated the celebration would occur in September and expressed enjoyment in the planning process. While the location has been subject to speculation, it is believed to be in Spain.
Atack became engaged to Garner, a scientist, in July of the previous year. The couple welcomed their son in 2024.
