An individual claiming to have knowledge of the 1992 abduction of Nancy Guthrie, mother of TODAY show anchor Savannah Guthrie, has asserted possession of video evidence. Harvey Levin of TMZ reported that the tipster claims the video shows the "main guy" involved in the kidnapping.
The emailer also reportedly stated that there were two kidnappers responsible for Guthrie's abduction. Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped on December 13, 1992, while on a trip to Australia with her husband, Richard Cohen. She was held for 13 hours before being released. The case remains unsolved.
