Elsa Pataky, wife of actor Chris Hemsworth, has revealed details of her diet and fitness regimen as she marked her 50th birthday. Pataky, a Spanish actress, is recognized for her commitment to a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Pataky follows a primarily plant-based diet that emphasizes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. A typical lunch for her includes a substantial salad with avocado, nuts, and seeds, dressed in olive oil. While she aims to limit processed foods and sugar, she permits herself occasional 'cheat' days, during which she enjoys cooking fresh fish or baking with her children.

Her fitness routine includes a focus on high-intensity interval training (HIIT), particularly the Norwegian 4x4 technique, which involves four rounds of four minutes at 85% to 95% of maximum heart rate to maintain VO2 max. Pataky also incorporates weight training and cardio, attending the gym at least three times a week. Additionally, she has practiced yoga for many years, noting its positive impact on both her physical and mental well-being, describing it as a form of meditation that helps her unwind.

Beyond structured workouts, Pataky stays active through activities with her three children. She and her family reside in Australia, where she often engages in horseback riding with her children. Pataky also dedicates time to mental wellness, meditating for 10 to 15 minutes daily after her children are asleep.

Pataky and Hemsworth married in 2010 and have three children: India, Sasha, and Tristan.
