Elon Musk Threatens Hillary Clinton's Podcast Partner Kara Swisher With Prison
Billionaire Elon Musk responded to comments made by journalist Kara Swisher, suggesting she could face jail time if she criticizes him.
Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk threatened journalist Kara Swisher, a podcast partner of former First Lady Hillary Clinton, with prison in a recent post on X, formerly Twitter.
Swisher, who recently launched the High Stakes podcast with Clinton, appeared on The Bulwark podcast. During the appearance, she suggested that if Democrats gain control of Congress in the upcoming midterm elections, they should investigate Musk. Swisher speculated that under a potential Kamala Harris presidency, Musk might already be in jail due to "a lot of questions around different companies of his."
She further stated, "If Donald Trump loses the Senate, I would be worried if I were him even though how rich he is. He has a very big sense of fate. And I think it's coming for him. And real hard."
Musk, responding to an excerpt of Swisher's comments on X, wrote, "Live by the sword, die by the sword. Sounds like Swisher really wants to go to prison."
The exchange has garnered significant attention online, with the excerpt of Swisher's comments viewed over 2.4 million times on X. Musk's reply received approximately 574,000 views.
Polls currently project a potential Democratic victory in both the House of Representatives and the Senate in the upcoming midterm elections, though some top Republicans contest these projections.
The Daily Mail reached out to Swisher for comment.
