Ella Rae Wise Splits from Ricky Lawrence Two Months After Marriage Rumors

Ella Rae Wise, known for her role on TOWIE, has reportedly ended her relationship with businessman Ricky Lawrence, just two months after they fueled speculation of a marriage.

The 26-year-old reality star and Lawrence, 34, had become Instagram official during a holiday in Marbella in August. Their relationship status was further hinted at when their friend Lorri Haines, fiancé of Ferne McCann, posted a photo of the couple with the caption "Congratulations to the newlyweds." Wise was also seen wearing a gold Cartier ring on her finger during their stay at the Don Carlos Hotel.

However, sources suggest that the couple has decided to part ways due to incompatibility and different life priorities. "Ella and Ricky have decided they're not compatible long-term and have ended things," a source told The Sun. "The relationship wasn't going anywhere and instead of wasting any more time, they decided it wouldn't last."

The insider added, "They're at different stages of their life, Ella's in her 20s and has different priorities. Their romance was very hot and heavy at the start but it began to fizzle out and the chemistry alone wasn't enough." The source also indicated Wise's desire to focus on her career, stating, "Ella is keen to move on, she's a busy career girl and wants to focus on that and if a new romance happens with someone new, then she's not ruling it out."

This split follows Wise's breakup with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Dan Edgar six months prior. Edgar is now in a relationship with Chloe Lewis. In May, Wise had openly shared her struggles with Edgar moving on, describing the situation as "really hard" and admitting to feeling "very emotional."

Wise had previously ended her relationship with Edgar in January 2025, citing trust issues, just a week before entering the Big Brother house. Speaking on the TOWIE podcast "You Alright Hun?" with Denise Van Outen, she discussed the difficulty of navigating group situations with her ex, acknowledging that they were "naturally drawn to each other" at times. She expressed confusion about how to move forward, wishing for a "crystal ball" to guide her decisions.
