Following the record-breaking success of her hit song "Choosin' Texas," country music singer Ella Langley has shared a video of herself confronting her fears by interacting with exotic animals. The TikTok video, posted on Wednesday, features Langley handling a variety of creatures, including a parrot, a baby kangaroo, an Argentine boa constrictor, and a lemur.

Langley expressed initial nervousness when presented with the boa constrictor, but she eventually allowed it to coil around her shoulders and body. The clip concludes with her embracing a lemur, stating, "I love today."

The public's reaction to the video on TikTok was largely positive, with fans expressing amusement and admiration. Comments included "So fun!" and "omg the snakes I would have ran."

"Choosin' Texas" recently achieved a historic milestone, marking its 23rd week at the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This achievement surpassed Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You," making Langley's song the longest-running number one hit in the chart's history.

Langley commemorated this achievement in an Instagram video on Tuesday night, expressing her disbelief and gratitude. "I’m genuinely trying to find the words to explain what’s going on in my brain today," she said. "Thank you so much. Thank you for loving this song, for listening to it. I feel like … I just don’t even know what to say at this point."

She further elaborated on the impact of the song's success, noting how it is changing her life, the lives of the song's writers, and her family. "It is truly growing an atmosphere for something I’m gonna be able to do the rest of my life," she added.

"Choosin' Texas" first appeared on the Hot 100 in November 2025, becoming Langley's first top 10 hit in January and reaching the number one spot in February. The singer indicated that she planned to celebrate the milestone further that evening.
