Elizabeth Hurley has offered a glimpse into her long-distance relationship with Billy Ray Cyrus, detailing how the couple balances their lives between the United States and the United Kingdom.

In a recent interview with E! News, Hurley, 61, described their relationship as "very happy" and focused on finding a balance between their respective countries. Cyrus, 64, has lived in Tennessee for the past 35 years. "The good thing is that he's very country where he is in Tennessee," Hurley said. "I'm very country where I am. And that's a really important thing in our relationship that neither of us want to be out and about."

The couple's preferred setting is described as "being at home in the country and snuggling up and doing a lot of things with nature," with Hurley noting they "very rarely" venture out. She added that they share a mutual enjoyment of activities like birdwatching. The couple recently watched "Little House on the Prairie" together, prompting Hurley to comment, "We can do that! We could have pined in the prairies."

Cyrus, father to singer Miley Cyrus, celebrated Hurley's 61st birthday earlier this month. He posted a photo of the two together, calling her "the love of my life" and expressing pride. Hurley responded affectionately to his post, with matching emojis.

Hurley and Cyrus began dating in 2025 after years of friendship and became Instagram official that same year. Hurley has previously described their romance as feeling "comfortable and natural" from the outset, contrasting it with previous relationships. "I had been really single for a really long time and to be honest, I was pretty happy. I had a great life and I had a really good time," she recalled. "So when I met Billy, even though I didn't really know I wanted to meet someone, when I met him."

"It felt incredibly comfortable and natural and easy from the first second, and I'd been set up with quite a few people in my single years and never felt comfortable and it never felt right and I'd much rather stay at home with the dogs," she added. She stated that if a relationship is right, "it'll happen and if it's not, I wouldn't force anything."

Cyrus has six children. He shares Miley, 33, and Noah, 26, as well as son Braison, 32, with ex-wife Tish Cyrus, 59, from whom he divorced in 2022. He also adopted Tish's two daughters, Brandi, 39, and Trace, 37. Additionally, he has a son, Christopher Cody, 34, with ex-girlfriend Kristen Luckey. Hurley is the mother of Damian Hurley, 24, with the late Steve Bing.
