Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus to Live Together in Los Angeles

Elizabeth Hurley has announced that she and Billy Ray Cyrus are planning to live together as she prepares to film the second season of the Peacock series "The 'Burbs" in Los Angeles. The British actress revealed the development on a recent episode of the "Off Air with Jane & Fi" podcast, expressing excitement for a "Californian winter" during her work stint.

Hurley, who resides full-time in the English countryside, contrasted her usual preference for cozying up by the fire during winter with the prospect of being in Los Angeles. "I live full-time in the country. I only visit London when I have to," she stated. She noted that she and Cyrus, who goes to bed "extremely early," both appreciate an early bedtime when it gets dark by 4 p.m. in winter.

Despite Cyrus living in Tennessee, Hurley shared that he "really loves" spending time in the UK, having visited frequently over the past year. She suggested that the milder climate in England, compared to the "brutal summers" of the U.S. with their high humidity and frequent rain, appeals to him. "They’re very hot and very humid and it rains a lot — so, for him to have our beautiful air and just the beauty of our countryside, I think is beautiful for him," she explained.

During the podcast, Hurley described her relationship with Cyrus as feeling "more grown up" and "easier" due to both being empty nesters. She recalled a previous relationship where the children were younger and closer in age to her son, Damian, who is now 24. Cyrus has six children, including Miley Cyrus, from his past relationships.

The couple, who first met on the set of the 2022 film "Christmas in Paradise," publicly confirmed their relationship on Easter Sunday 2025. Earlier in October, Page Six exclusively reported that Hurley and Cyrus are engaged, following sightings of Hurley wearing a large diamond ring.

Previously, Hurley and Cyrus had shared that they split their time between Cyrus's farm in Tennessee and Hurley's country home in England. Hurley described their lifestyle as a connection to country life, noting the similarities between Cyrus's farm and her own property. "Funnily enough, [Billy’s] farm in Tennessee is very similar to my farm here in Gloucestershire, so in a way it kind of feels normal," she said in May.
