The X account associated with Elizabeth Holmes, the convicted former CEO of Theranos, has posted a cryptic message and a glamorous selfie featuring the imprisoned fraudster. The post, which shows Holmes in full makeup and blowing a kiss, was accompanied by the message: "The answer to every challenge lies in your heart."

The post has garnered significant attention, with millions of views since its late Sunday release. Replies to questions, seemingly from Holmes herself, have also been shared. In one exchange, when asked about the snake ring in the photo, the account responded, "is from a Taylor Swift merch stand." When a user asked "wya" (where you at), the account replied, "Bryan Federal Prison Camp."

While the posts are crafted to appear as if directly from Holmes, the account is reportedly managed by her partner, Billy Evans, according to NPR. Holmes herself does not have internet access while serving her 11-year sentence at Bryan Federal Prison Camp for defrauding investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Holmes, 42, has recently re-entered public discourse following the release of a trailer for a new documentary titled "You Can See Everything." The film, by filmmaker Lance Oppenheim, chronicles Holmes' life in the weeks leading up to her May 2023 surrender to federal prison. The project spanned three years and continued even after her incarceration.

Holmes was convicted in January 2022 on one count of conspiracy to defraud investors and three counts of wire fraud. She received a sentence of 11 years and three months and was ordered, along with former Theranos president Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani, to pay over $452 million in restitution.

Holmes founded Theranos at the age of 19, promoting a technology she claimed could perform a wide range of blood tests with a single finger prick. The company achieved a valuation of approximately $9 billion before investigations revealed significant flaws in its technology, contradicting Holmes' claims.
