Weeks before reporting to prison in May 2023, Elizabeth Holmes allowed filmmakers Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim to document her life for the A24 documentary "You Can See Everything." The film, which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival, has released a trailer showing Holmes asserting her authenticity in a tense conversation with Fielder.

In the trailer footage, Holmes, 42, stated, "I’m always being real." She added, "I don’t have anything to deceive you on; of course, I’m not deceiving you." Responding to Fielder's question about whether she was being real, Holmes reiterated her commitment to honesty.

The documentary's logline describes the film as a "mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss" that begins as an intimate portrait of the former Theranos founder. "Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move," the description reads.

Fielder, who spent three years working on the documentary, has expressed his own difficulty in fully comprehending his experience. "And one of the things I’m genuinely excited about is for this movie to come out and for people to help me understand what I experienced," he said during a Q&A after the screening. "Truly, to this day, I don’t quite know what I went through."

Holmes is currently serving a nine-year, six-month sentence at Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Texas for her role in defrauding investors through her blood-testing startup, Theranos. She was found guilty of four counts of wire fraud and conspiracy in 2022. Her projected release date is December 30, 2031. Holmes' story has previously been the subject of the 2019 HBO documentary "The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley" and the 2022 Hulu miniseries "The Dropout."
