Elite School Graduate's Disturbing Sex Crimes Revealed

The deeply disturbing double life of an elite Scots College graduate, whose acts of sexual violence against children and animals began while he was a student, has been detailed in court documents so horrific they carry a warning. The court file contains allegations so disturbing that Candace Sutton, a crime reporter, described them as the worst she has encountered in decades of reporting.

Ethan Tyler Ungerboeck, 21, from a wealthy Sydney family, was described as an elite schoolboy with a 'big brain' during his time at Scots College. However, his online activities included saving 16 videos of child abuse material and exchanging messages about videos depicting the torture and killing of kittens. Police discovered child abuse material on his computer, an HP laptop, and a USB drive.

Beyond the child abuse material, Ungerboeck's offenses also included animal crush material, depicting the torture and killing of animals. The Police Statement of Agreed Facts highlighted the sadism, celebration of shame, depravity, and sheer brutality involved in his actions. He had also dated a 16-year-old girl when he was 20, biting her so severely that half her face went numb and burning her with a cigarette.

During his time at the elite school, Ungerboeck reportedly complained of being bullied. Police investigations found that he had begun accessing child abuse material from a young age. He once appeared in court on crutches. One of his defenses presented for violent incidents was his alleged poor mental health and cannabis use.

Despite the gravity of the offenses, there is a possibility that Ungerboeck could avoid jail time and remain in his family's luxury home, which includes a Maroubra mansion and another property listed in court documents. His lawyer is Michael Bowe.
