Eli Manning experienced a stunned reaction while broadcasting live on ESPN’s “ManningCast” as New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart sustained a knee injury during the team’s “Monday Night Football” matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

As the play unfolded, depicting Dart taking a hard hit during the first quarter, Eli’s older brother and co-host, Peyton Manning, expressed immediate concern. “Oh no. Oh no. No, no, no, no, no,” Peyton said. “That is not what we want to see. Gosh!” He followed with a sigh and a “Come on.”

Eli Manning, meanwhile, appeared transfixed, staring at the screen with a look of shock and occasionally glancing down at his hands. He described the hit as a “high-low” impact and expressed his dismay, stating, “Oh, tough to watch. Hate to see that. Hopefully he’s okay.”

Initial examinations suggest Dart, a second-year quarterback, may have suffered a sprained MCL. X-rays taken after the incident came back negative, and he is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam on Tuesday for a more definitive diagnosis.

The Giants struggled in Dart's absence, ultimately losing to the Rams 28-6 at SoFi Stadium. Backup quarterback Jameis Winston completed 11 of 27 passes for 111 yards and threw an interception, posting a quarterback rating of 37.7. The team will need to adjust their game plan as they prepare to host the Tennessee Titans in Week 3.
