Eddie Richardson, the last surviving member of the notorious Richardson gang, died last week from pneumonia. He was 90 years old.
Richardson was a central figure in the gang, which operated in London and was known for its brutality, including the use of a "torture dungeon" to inflict violence on enemies. The gang engaged in a violent feud with their rivals, the Kray twins' notorious outfit.
During his time in prison, Richardson reportedly developed a friendship with Reggie Kray, and the two are said to have played table tennis together.
