Eamonn Holmes' Girlfriend Katie Alexander Reportedly Moves Out Amid Presenter's Stroke Recovery
Alexander has moved her belongings from the couple's shared flat as Holmes continues to recover in hospital following his April stroke.
Eamonn Holmes' girlfriend Katie Alexander has reportedly moved out of the flat they shared as the GB News presenter continues his recovery from a stroke he suffered in April. Alexander is said to have moved her belongings out of the rented property on Friday.
Sources close to the situation described it as "an incredibly sad situation." One told The Sun on Sunday: "Katie is still very much together with Eamonn and in love, but she’s moved out of the flat. It’s an incredibly sad situation — she loved it there and the time they spent together making it home."
Alexander has been described as Holmes' "rock and lifeline" since he fell ill and is reportedly willing him to "get back to full fitness and get their lives back on track."
Holmes, 66, began renting the three-bedroom Surrey flat after his marriage to Ruth Langsford ended. Alexander, 45, is understood to have divided her time between the Surrey flat and her home in West Yorkshire.
It remains unclear where Holmes will reside upon his eventual discharge from hospital. His family is reportedly managing his financial affairs during his hospital stay.
Holmes and Alexander began dating in May 2024, a few months after his split from Langsford. In March, just a month before his stroke, Holmes described Alexander as "the perfect tonic" for his health issues, highlighting their shared tastes and connection over food.
This news comes amid reports that Holmes may not return to his role at GB News. Although he expressed intentions in June to make a full recovery and return to his anchor position, his recovery is said to be taking longer than anticipated. Those close to the presenter reportedly believe his "career is now over."
