The Philadelphia Eagles have traded guard Cam Jurgens to the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN.com. This move comes just one day after offensive tackle Lane Johnson announced his retirement from the NFL.
The Eagles sent Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round draft pick to the Ravens in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round selection. The team's offensive line has been notably impacted by these two departures in as many days, as both Jurgens and Johnson were considered Pro Bowl-caliber players.
Jurgens, 27, was recently moved from center to guard on the Eagles' offensive line. He had signed a contract extension worth $68 million prior to last season. Currently, Jurgens is participating in the NFL's concussion protocol.
