Dylan Sprouse, known for his role in "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," has detailed a frightening home invasion incident that occurred at his Los Angeles residence. Speaking on his "Wildmen" podcast, Sprouse recounted how he encountered an intruder late at night while his wife, Barbara Palvin, who is pregnant with their first child, was upstairs.

Sprouse described being on the couch playing video games around 12:30 a.m. when he heard a noise at his front door. He explained that he does not always lock his front door until he goes to bed. Initially, he thought it might be his father, but the late hour prompted a second thought: someone attempting to steal the couple's Pokémon card collection. Sprouse humorously acknowledged that while the cards were valuable to them, "the life of my wife" was far more precious.

He then retrieved a handgun from upstairs and went to confront the intruder, estimating the entire process from hearing the noise to being outside with the gun took about 20 seconds. Palvin, alerted to the situation, offered to call the police, a move Sprouse praised.

Upon confronting the individual, Sprouse observed the man was carrying a cigarette and a longboard skateboard, leading the actor to believe the intruder might be under the influence. The man reportedly stated he was disoriented, further suggesting he might be on substances. Sprouse instructed the intruder to walk slowly with his hands visible and exit the property, which the man complied with, appearing calm rather than aggressive.

The actor also noted the intruder had wires hanging from his pockets and a bulge on his chest, which turned out to be a fanny pack. Sprouse told the man to remain seated until law enforcement arrived.

According to Sprouse, the intruder was taken into custody because of outstanding arrest warrants. Sprouse decided not to press charges related to the home invasion itself. He also clarified a common misconception, stating he did not tackle the intruder, though he admits to encouraging the belief that he did for a more "cool" image.

The account comes shortly after Sprouse and Palvin announced they are expecting a baby girl. They initially revealed Palvin's pregnancy in May at the Cannes Film Festival and later confirmed the news on Instagram.
