Social media posts from 2018 by Dylan Sprouse and James Gunn, questioning actor Jared Leto's behavior towards young women, have resurfaced as new sexual misconduct allegations against Leto have emerged.

In May 2018, Sprouse, who was dating model Barbara Palvin at the time, posted on X, formerly Twitter, "Yo @JaredLeto now that you’ve slid into the dm’s of every female model aged 18-25, what would you say your success rate is?" At the time, Sprouse was 25, Palvin was 24, and Leto was 46.

James Gunn, who was 51 in 2018, responded to Sprouse's tweet in a now-deleted comment, "He starts at 18 on the Internet?" Gunn's remark seemingly implied Leto was pursuing underage individuals.

These posts have gained renewed attention following the release of the BBC documentary "Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret." The documentary features accounts from 10 women who allege traumatic sexual encounters, including assault, with the now 54-year-old Leto between 2002 and 2016. Four of these women claim they were underage at the time of the alleged incidents.

The documentary also includes interviews with two former employees of Leto's band, 30 Seconds to Mars. These individuals stated they and others were uncomfortable with Leto's interactions with teenage girls, including inviting them to backstage, dressing rooms, and his home.

Leto has previously denied such allegations. In response to the claims in the BBC documentary, a representative for Leto issued a statement calling the new allegations "absolutely and categorically false." The statement added, "I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life."

This is not the first time Leto's alleged behavior has made headlines. In June 2025, nine women accused the actor of inappropriate sexual behavior, with many alleging they were underage at the time. Leto also denied those claims.

Reps for Sprouse and Gunn did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
