The controversy began when a woman publicly accused Lacey of having an affair with her boyfriend. The accuser also claimed that Harper was aware of this alleged relationship but chose to remain with Lacey.

Lacey addressed the rumors directly in a TikTok video posted on Friday night. The video features Lacey's friend stating, "Do you know what I say? F—k them. Exclamation point!" Lacey, responding while wearing a yellow dress, echoed the sentiment, saying, "F—k them!" She then added, "Now I want to f—k," while dancing.
The TikTok post was captioned, "To all the people believing I’d ever cheat on my hubbyy @DylanHarper."
Harper himself weighed in on the video with a comment that quickly became the top response. He wrote, "We just gone let the world talk 🫡🫡❤️," accompanied by a photo of him and Lacey in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Lacey subsequently liked Harper's comment.
Dylan Harper, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, averaged 14.1 points per game in the postseason for the Spurs as a rookie last season.
