Dylan Efron Runs Through NYC, Promotes Sweepstakes

Dylan Efron, the younger brother of actor Zac Efron, recently displayed his athletic physique while training for the New York City Marathon and promoting a sweepstakes event in New York City.

Efron, 34, was seen running through Manhattan in a black tank top and shorts, sharing images and video from his workout in Union Square. This training comes as he participates in preparations for the upcoming marathon.

During his run, Efron was also promoting an Oroweat sweepstakes. He encouraged followers to find the "Running Sandwich" around New York City, particularly near Union Square and Chelsea Triangle. Those who scan a QR code associated with the sandwich have a chance to win $50,000.

"Catch that running sandwich!" Efron posted on Instagram. "The @oroweatbread Running Sandwich is, well, running around New York City. This weekend only, find the sandwich and scan its QR code for a chance to win $50k!"

This promotional activity follows Efron's previous viral moments related to his hygiene habits. Last year, he addressed rumors by posting a video in a Speedo, jokingly demonstrating a minimal rinsing routine after swimming. He has previously stated his belief that people shower too frequently, suggesting that frequent swimming in chlorinated water reduces the need for daily soaping.

Efron, who appeared in season three of the Peacock series "The Traitors," made it to the finale of the show. His older brother, Zac Efron, had expressed confidence in his chances, telling Entertainment Tonight in June 2024 that Dylan was skilled at games and had a good chance of winning.

Dylan Efron's participation in "The Traitors" and his training for the NYC Marathon highlight his public profile, separate from his brother's.
