Filming for the second season of the Paramount+ series ‘Dutton Ranch’ is anticipated to commence in early 2027, with a premiere expected in the fall or winter of that year. The renewal for a second season was confirmed by Paramount+ following the conclusion of its first season.

While a specific release date has not yet been announced, the production timeline provides an estimated window for new episodes. The series, which centers on the Dutton family and their Yellowstone ranch, has garnered a significant following.

Details about the plot for the upcoming season remain under wraps, but cast members have expressed anticipation for the continuation of the narrative. Actor Cole Hauser, who portrays Rip Wheeler, indicated that storylines could involve the return of a central character, stating, “Everything’s on the table, and that’s the great thing… The one thing that’s más importante is that we get our kid back. That’s going to take a couple episodes, hopefully. But Carter needs to come home.”

‘Dutton Ranch’ Season 1 is currently available for streaming on Paramount+. The platform offers two subscription tiers: Essential, an ad-supported plan for $8.99 per month, and Premium, an ad-free plan that includes Showtime and live CBS content for $13.99 per month. Both plans offer a seven-day free trial for new subscribers. Additionally, Paramount+ can be accessed through YouTube, which also provides a free trial period.

Paramount+ content can also be added to existing Hulu or Amazon accounts for $13.99 per month, with free trial options available for new subscribers to those platforms.

Separately, creator Taylor Sheridan recently clarified that a planned spinoff series focusing on the fictionalized Four Sixes Ranch in Texas, known as ‘6666,’ will not be moving forward. Sheridan stated that he would not fictionalize the actual ranch, despite its introduction in Season 4 of ‘Yellowstone.’
