Stars of the "Yellowstone" universe spinoffs "Dutton Ranch" and "Marshals" have signaled a potential for future crossovers between the series. Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton in "Dutton Ranch," and Cole Hauser, who portrays Rip Wheeler, have both expressed interest in reuniting with characters from the original "Yellowstone" and its other spinoffs.

The Season 1 finales of "Marshals" and "Dutton Ranch" presented parallel cliffhangers, with Tate Dutton, son of Kayce Dutton, unknowingly boarding a plane to Texas with antagonist Tom Weaver in "Marshals," and Carter, the adopted son of Beth and Rip, being kidnapped by a cartel in "Dutton Ranch." These similar plot points, both seemingly set in Texas, have fueled speculation about a potential crossover.

When asked about the possibility of the character's sons being in similar danger, Reilly told TV Insider, "Maybe," hinting at a planned connection. Both Reilly and Hauser shared their desire to work with Luke Grimes, who stars as Kayce Dutton in "Marshals."

"What I will say is I’d love to work with Luke. We saw him in New York for the Upfronts, Kelly and I both, and I just love him, man. I miss him," Hauser stated. Reilly echoed his sentiment, saying, "I miss him too."

Hauser further elaborated on the potential for collaboration. "I love people that we’ve worked with over the years in Yellowstone, but the fact that he’s on his show and we’re on this show, if there’s a way to somewhere down the road do something special where he comes and visits us or if we go to Montana, great," he said.

Reilly expressed a specific desire for a reunion focused on family ties. "Go find our sons," she suggested. "I think Beth misses her brother, so I would love that to happen. And we were all very close. Wes Bentley, who played Jamie, Kelsey [Asbille], who played Monica Dutton]. We were a family, and we miss them very much. So the more we can get back in, that’s what we’re fighting for, Cole and I. Where we get our wishes, we would love to have as many back in our world."

While characters like Jamie Dutton and Monica Dutton might not be part of a direct crossover, the possibility remains open for other "Yellowstone" stars to appear, similar to Gil Birmingham and Mo Brings Plenty, who reprised their roles in "Marshals."

Reilly also confirmed that series creator Taylor Sheridan will be involved in the second season of "Dutton Ranch." "We talk to him now about what the next season could be, and he wants to be involved," she told The Dallas Morning News. Fans are anticipating whether these developments will lead to a significant crossover event within the Sheridan-verse.

Both "Marshals" and "Dutton Ranch" are available for streaming on Paramount+.
