Dunkin' Offers 1 Million Free Coffees in September Promotions
The coffee chain is distributing free hot or iced coffees to the first million customers who claim the offer via its app, with additional promotions planned for National Coffee Day.
Dunkin' is offering one million free coffees to customers on Thursday, September 24, as part of a limited-time promotion. The giveaway provides a free hot or iced coffee to the first million customers who claim the offer through the Dunkin' app.
The promo code for the free coffee will be announced on Dunkin's social media channels midday Thursday. To redeem, customers must enter the code in the "Offers & Rewards" section of the Dunkin' app. The offer can be redeemed through Sunday, September 27.
Food influencer @snackolator advised customers to set up their Dunkin' app and account in advance to ensure a quicker claim, noting that the app can experience slow performance during high-demand periods.
Further promotions are scheduled throughout the month. For National Coffee Day on Tuesday, September 29, Dunkin' Rewards members can receive a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase made through the Dunkin' app.
In observance of the first day of fall, Dunkin' partnered with L.L.Bean to release a limited-edition line of merchandise. The collection includes a miniature sweater holster for coffee cups, designed in Dunkin's signature pink and orange colors, reminiscent of L.L.Bean's fisherman sweater pattern. These coffee cup sweaters were initially available for free to customers but quickly sold out.
Reports from a midtown Manhattan Dunkin' location indicated that the limited-edition sweater sleeves were gone by early morning. Customers interested in purchasing items from the L.L.Bean x Dunkin' collaboration can buy a full-size L.L.Bean sweater for $79.95 starting on National Coffee Day. Additionally, a pink-and-orange L.L.Bean Boat & Tote bag is available for $59.95, and a smaller coffee-sized tote is priced at $24.95 and exclusively sold on the Dunkin' website.
Jill Nelson, chief marketing officer at Dunkin', stated that the collaboration with L.L.Bean aims to align with customer routines, noting that both brands have been part of daily life and traditions for decades.
