Duncan Bannatyne Names Superyacht After Wife Nigora

Scots tycoon Duncan Bannatyne, 77, has acquired a luxury superyacht named 'Nigora' after his wife. The couple recently spent time cruising the Italian coast aboard the vessel, engaging in sunbathing, sightseeing, and leisurely lunches.

Photos shared by Mrs. Bannatyne show the couple, accompanied by Nigora’s mother and friends, sailing in the Ligurian Sea and visiting the medieval town of Portovenere. The yacht's name is prominently displayed on its stern and is also embroidered on internal furnishings.

Bannatyne, known for his role as a business investor on the television show 'Dragons' Den,' and his wife are also offering the yacht for private charter. Rates range from £67,000 to £74,000 per week during the winter season, when it is based in the Bahamas, and from £81,000 to £89,000 per week in the summer, when it is located in Monaco. The 28-meter tri-deck Sunseeker yacht can accommodate charter guests in a master suite and five guest cabins.

Mrs. Bannatyne, 46, has previously promoted the yacht's charter availability on social media, highlighting its suitability for cruising in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

Bannatyne, who was born in Glasgow and left school without qualifications, built his business empire through various ventures including care homes, children's nurseries, and a chain of gyms. He met his wife, a native of Uzbekistan, in 2014 at a dental surgery in London where she was working.

Since their marriage, Bannatyne has focused on enjoying a more relaxed lifestyle and traveling with his wife. The couple has also been involved in charitable work, supporting Operation Smile, an organization that provides surgery for children with facial deformities.
