Since joining the royal family in 2018, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has offered glimpses into her kitchens, revealing a consistent design preference for farmhouse-inspired elements combined with high-end finishes.

Early in her royal tenure, when she moved into Prince Harry's former bachelor pad, a two-bedroom cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, in November 2017, the Duchess's kitchens featured details like marble countertops, copper pots, and a butler's sink. She also owned a Vitamix E320 Explorian Blender, a popular appliance among celebrities.

Later, at Frogmore Cottage, the couple opted for an open-plan kitchen design. This space included dark wooden cupboards paired with luxury marble countertops and a spacious breakfast bar. The renovations also incorporated not one, but two kitchen islands. One island featured a dark wood base with a marble top, while a second, lighter-colored island was also visible. These kitchens have been noted to showcase elements of a Soho Farmhouse aesthetic.

More recently, the Duchess shared an image speculated to be from her new home in the Cotswolds. This kitchen continues her signature style, with a prominent marble-topped island, copper pots, and a butler's sink, echoing the luxury touches seen in her previous residences. While the Duchess has shared cooking demonstrations and tips, sometimes in kitchens not her own, these glimpses into her personal culinary spaces highlight a deliberate and consistent design choice.
