Drunk Passenger Removed From Delta Flight After Tirade
A 60-year-old man was arrested after an alleged drunken, racist outburst aboard an Atlanta-bound Delta flight at JFK Airport.

A Brooklyn man was removed from a Delta flight and arrested after allegedly launching into a drunken, racist, and expletive-filled tirade before takeoff on Thursday. Jerome Anixter, 60, was escorted off Delta flight 2342 at John F. Kennedy International Airport by Port Authority police officers around 1:30 p.m. after causing a disturbance onboard.
Law enforcement sources told The Post that officers responded to the aircraft following a report of an intoxicated passenger causing a scene. Video shared online, reportedly filmed by another passenger, captured an unruly individual using the N-word and exclaiming, “Can you believe these mother f–kers?!” as officers led him off the plane. The footage, posted on X by @thenewsjunkie, also included claims that the man yelled “Death to America” and simulated shooting fellow passengers. While The Post could not immediately confirm the identity of the man in the video, the flight details align with information provided by sources.
Delta Airlines issued a statement acknowledging the incident, stating, "Delta has zero tolerance for disruptive behavior, and we thank law enforcement for their assistance in removing this unruly customer." The airline also apologized to passengers for the experience and any travel delays. The flight to Atlanta, carrying 160 passengers and six crew members, departed 45 minutes behind schedule.
Following his removal from the aircraft, Anixter was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration, according to law enforcement sources. The specific events that triggered his alleged outburst remain unclear.
