A woman who drove a pickup truck onto a soccer field, killing two people and injuring 10, has been released without charges as the investigation continues.

A woman has been released without charges as authorities continue to investigate a crash where she drove a pickup truck onto a soccer field during a youth game in Wichita, Kansas, killing two people and injuring 10.
The 34-year-old woman was released pending the results of toxicology tests and a mechanical examination of the vehicle, police said Sunday. Her name has not been made public.
"Our officers and investigators will continue working to understand exactly what happened," Wichita Police Chief Joe Sullivan stated, noting that no charges have been filed to date.
The crash occurred Saturday at the Stryker Sports Complex. The driver had one child playing soccer on a different field when the incident happened. According to a police statement, two of her other children were in the pickup truck with her when it struck multiple children and adults.
A preliminary investigation indicates the Chevrolet pickup was parked near the soccer fields before it drove onto one of them.
Those killed in the incident were identified as 6-year-old Cole Adrian and 35-year-old Nicholas Schafer, both of McPherson, Kansas. The victims were not related.
Ten other individuals, ranging in age from 5 to 68, were taken to area hospitals with injuries that were described as non-serious.
Investigators have interviewed more than 30 witnesses, including the driver and her two children who were in the truck at the time of the crash.
