Drake Maye's Wife Draws Massive Crowd at Grocery Store Meet-and-Greet
Over a thousand fans lined up for Ann Michael Maye's first public appearance, coinciding with the Patriots' recent winning streak.
Ann Michael Maye, wife of New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, attracted approximately 1,200 fans to her first public meet-and-greet event at a Market Basket grocery store in North Andover, Massachusetts.
The event, held on Friday, saw dedicated fans waiting for hours for a chance to meet Maye. Some attendees reportedly traveled from as far as Connecticut and Maine. The large turnout underscores the significant public interest surrounding the Maye family, particularly as the Patriots navigate a successful stretch in their season.
Maye has a year-long partnership with Olivia's Organics, a company specializing in organic produce. The meet-and-greet also offered attendees an opportunity to learn about healthy recipes. Her popularity has been amplified by her presence on social media, where she shares a down-to-earth demeanor and a holiday baking series titled "Bakemas."
Despite the large crowd, only a few hundred attendees were able to meet Maye in person. She extended the event by an additional half hour due to the overwhelming response and engaged with fans who brought items for her to autograph. One fan expressed appreciation for her authenticity, stating, "No matter how big you are in this world, people always want to know that they make a difference."
The surge in public attention for Ann Michael Maye coincides with a positive turn for the New England Patriots and Drake Maye. After an initial 1-2 start to the season, the team has secured two consecutive victories against the Buffalo Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders. In these recent wins, Maye has shown marked improvement, posting 643 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and only one interception, a significant shift from his performance in the first three games where he threw six interceptions against one touchdown.
The Patriots are aiming for a third consecutive win in their upcoming Week 6 matchup against the New York Jets. The team is also expected to receive a boost with the potential activation of receiver A.J. Brown from injured reserve. Brown suffered an ankle injury during the Week 1 loss. Drake and Ann Michael Maye have been together since middle school and were married in 2025.
