U.S. Border Patrol agents in the El Centro Sector apprehended 34 undocumented migrants in two human smuggling operations in Westmorland, Southern California. Officials described the incidents as dangerous attempts to bypass border security.

In one operation, agents stopped a Chevrolet Tahoe carrying seven undocumented immigrants. Shortly after, agents discovered 27 migrants concealed inside a mini bottom dump trailer.

No injuries were reported in either incident. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials stated that these busts represent a significant disruption to smuggling networks operating along the border. The agency reiterated its commitment to combating human smuggling, with a public warning stating, "If you are here illegally, we will find you, we will arrest you, and we will remove you from the United States. It is not a matter of if, but when."
