Dorit Kemsley has accused her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, of attempting to force their children into homelessness by failing to pay the mortgage on their Los Angeles home. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Dorit claims that PK informally agreed to cover the mortgage and other expenses when he moved out in May 2024, in exchange for not having to pay temporary child or spousal support.
Dorit alleges that PK, 58, has not upheld his end of this financial understanding, as she has received foreclosure notices on the property. She further asserts that PK, who she estimates earns $2 million annually plus other income, possesses sufficient funds to meet these obligations. The court filing states, “Just as PK refuses to pay child and spousal support, he also refuses to pay the mortgage. Instead, he would prefer to divert his cash on hand to his own personal use.” Dorit has accused PK of “weaponizing to render his wife and children homeless” and is requesting that his bid to sell the home be denied.
PK, on the other hand, has claimed in a separate filing that he did cover the mortgage and expenses for a period and believes his estranged wife should contribute. He also stated that the family home is facing a foreclosure auction deadline.
In response to PK's allegations that she spent $1 million on designer items instead of mortgage payments, Dorit countered that she spent $713,000 over 26 months on necessary wardrobe expenses for filming "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." She characterized PK as a significant spender, claiming he spent $756,000 in recent months on travel, designer clothing, dining, Zelle payments, and cash withdrawals, suggesting his motive is to fund his personal spending.
Dorit is seeking not only for PK to cover the overdue mortgage payments but also for him to pay $21,086 per month in child support, $22,330 monthly for spousal support, and $347,328 in retroactive child and spousal support. PK's representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Dorit and PK announced their separation in May 2024 after nearly a decade of marriage. Dorit officially filed for divorce in April 2024. The couple share two sons, Jagger, 12, and Phoenix, 10, and stated at the time of their separation that they would prioritize their children. PK has since been romantically linked with Tatiana Kharchylava since April.
