Dorit and PK Kemsley Reach Partial Financial Settlement in Divorce Proceedings
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her estranged husband made progress on financial matters in court, with custody mediation scheduled for December.
Dorit and PK Kemsley are moving closer to finalizing their divorce after reaching a partial financial settlement in court on Wednesday. The resolution came after a lengthy session involving their legal teams at Los Angeles County Superior Court. Details of the financial agreement have not been publicly disclosed.
The couple, who announced their separation on May 9, 2024, and Dorit filed for divorce in April 2025, were ordered to attend virtual mediation on December 2. This session is intended to finalize a custody agreement for their two children, Jagger, 12, and Phoenix, 10.
According to eyewitness accounts, both Dorit and PK appeared nervous and stressed during their court appearance. PK was reportedly overheard expressing anxiety to his legal team before entering the courtroom. Dorit's attorney escorted her into the room shortly after.
After initial proceedings, Judge George Bird met with the attorneys in chambers for nearly an hour. Upon returning to the bench, he directed Dorit, 50, and PK, 59, to meet with another judge in a different department to address their custody disputes. Judge Bird emphasized the importance of prioritizing their children and noted that progress seemed slow, stating, "I feel like every time we call this case, we're getting further and further away."
Before proceeding to the second judge, Dorit expressed a need for a cigarette break, a request that her legal team advised her to clear beforehand. The former couple is scheduled to return to court on November 24 to continue settlement negotiations.
Dorit and PK Kemsley were married on March 7, 2015, in New York City.
