A DoorDash customer in Houston, Texas, received an unexpected and unwelcome delivery when the driver arrived at his home completely naked. The incident occurred on a Monday when Kiante Matlock was at home with his daughter. He received a notification that his order had arrived, but upon checking his Ring camera, he discovered the delivery person was unclothed.
The footage showed the driver, who had shoulder-length dreadlocks, placing the food order on the porch and then walking back to their vehicle without any apparent concern. Matlock, a regular user of the delivery service, expressed his disbelief at the situation.
Following the discovery, Matlock discarded the food and contacted DoorDash. The company issued a statement calling the driver's behavior "abhorrent" and "vulgar and completely unacceptable." DoorDash confirmed that the driver's access to their platform has been permanently revoked. The company also stated that they do not tolerate sexual harassment or misconduct and are prepared to assist law enforcement if an investigation occurs. DoorDash advised customers who feel unsafe due to a driver's conduct to contact 911 and pointed Matlock toward safety resources on their website.
This incident is not the first time a DoorDash driver has been captured on camera engaging in unusual behavior. In December of the previous year, a driver in Florida was recorded putting a stray chicken wing back into a takeout container after it fell on the ground, licking sauce from their fingers, and then leaving without client interaction. Another instance involved a driver who allegedly marked an order as delivered immediately after receiving it and submitted an AI-generated photo of the food on the customer's doorstep.
