Donnie Wahlberg's Private Jet Skids Off Runway in Las Vegas
Actor reports no injuries after incident at Harry Reid International Airport.
Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg was aboard a private jet that skidded off a runway and crashed into a fence on Sunday at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. during a failed takeoff, according to reports.
Wahlberg, 57, shared a video update on Instagram expressing gratitude for the pilots and emergency responders. "Yes, it was me and my team/friends onboard the aircraft. It was a rather intense few moments," he stated, adding, "Thankful to God, of course, and to our incredible pilots who did an amazing job of keeping us safe and avoiding a serious disaster."
No injuries were reported among those on board the aircraft. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene following the crash.
As a result of the incident, two runways at the airport were closed for inspection. The Federal Aviation Administration temporarily halted planned flights to the airport, leading to delays. The airport had logged over 370,000 operations and more than 34 million passengers by August of the current year.
Wahlberg is known for his role as Detective Danny Reagan in the CBS police drama Blue Bloods, which concluded its 14-season run in December 2024. He also stars in the spin-off series Boston Blue, which premiered on CBS on October 17, 2025, and follows his character's return to his hometown of Boston.
