Donald Trump Jr. has addressed rumors circulating online that he uses cocaine, attributing his sometimes-manic public appearances and perceived unwellness to other factors.

During a segment on his “Triggered” podcast where he reads audience comments, Trump Jr. read a remark stating, “Lay off the coke, Junior.” He then directly responded to the persistent online claims, which have been a recurring theme on late-night comedy shows.

“I’ve done so much of it, yet shockingly ― according to Twitter, I’m the biggest cokehead in the world ― shockingly, there’s never been a photo or video or anyone with any credibility actually saying that they’ve seen me do this,” Trump Jr. stated. He explicitly denied the allegations, saying, “I don’t.”

The rumors were amplified after his appearance at the 2020 Republican National Convention, where he appeared sweaty and with glassy eyes. He previously attributed that specific instance to poor lighting conditions.

Trump Jr. also addressed comments about his general appearance, including one that said he looked “like shit.” He explained that he had recently undergone foot surgery stemming from an old paragliding injury, which could contribute to him appearing tired. "The trolls are always gonna do that," he said. "It's fine. I'm happy to address it."
