Dolly Parton's nephew, Bryan Seaver, was reportedly involved in an altercation with police officers on August 24, the day before the acclaimed musician's death, according to court documents. She's Alive, LLC, the entity managing Parton's estate, has filed a request for body-worn camera footage from all officers present at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 24 and 25.

The estate's filing specifically seeks footage of Seaver's alleged "altercation with police personnel." Sources close to Seaver, however, told TMZ that he was not cited by authorities and that his presence at the medical center was solely to coordinate the logistics of transporting Parton's body. These sources described the interaction as a "simple discussion" rather than an altercation, with one insider claiming police acted as if Seaver were a "fugitive."

Seaver is scheduled to appear in court on December 2. Page Six has reached out to Seaver for comment.

Parton passed away on August 25 at the age of 80, following a private battle with cancer. In the weeks following her death, Seaver was terminated from his role as head of security for Parton's estate. Shortly after, She's Alive, LLC obtained a temporary restraining order against Seaver and his security company, barring them from approaching Parton's Nashville offices and interfering with her business. The estate had previously filed a lawsuit accusing Seaver of intimidating and harassing staff at Parton's hotel and museum. Seaver has maintained that his alleged threatening messages were private exchanges taken out of context and related to a business dispute.
