Dolly Parton's Former Hollywood Hills Home Listed for $7.95 Million

The former Hollywood Hills residence of country music icon Dolly Parton has been listed for sale at $7.95 million. The property, located in the exclusive Bird Streets neighborhood, was purchased by Parton and her husband, Carl Dean, in 1985 for $750,000 and later sold for $1.2 million five years later.

The 4,689-square-foot home sits on a 0.35-acre lot and features four bedrooms and six bathrooms. It is situated behind a discreet garage, offering privacy. The interior boasts floor-to-ceiling windows in the living and dining rooms that provide panoramic views of Downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean. These spaces open onto a terrace with a pool and spa, suitable for entertaining.

The primary suite is designed as a private retreat, complete with a coffee bar, two bathrooms, a steam shower, an office, a gym, a walk-in closet, a fireplace, a private spa, and a deck with city views. The kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances, including Miele double ovens, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and a wine fridge.

Additional features of the property include a Zen trail and garden, a two-car garage with custom cabinets and EV charger wiring, and four extra parking spaces. Parton and Dean, who married in 1966, lived in the home during their famously private marriage. Dean passed away on March 3, 2025, and Parton died on August 25, 2026, at the age of 80. Over the years, Parton owned several homes, including properties in Solvang, California, and a penthouse in New York City.
