The Los Angeles Dodgers have scheduled a visit to the White House on July 23 to celebrate their second consecutive World Series title, according to a White House official.

The team will visit during an off day on an East Coast road trip, fitting the celebration between a series against the Philadelphia Phillies and another against the New York Mets. White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers stated, “President Trump is excited to welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers BACK to the White House to celebrate their World Series championship!”

This visit concludes months of speculation regarding the timing of the event. Manager Dave Roberts had previously expressed his intention to uphold the tradition of visiting the White House, stating, “I am going to continue to try to do what tradition says.” However, a prior opportunity in April, when the Dodgers were in Washington D.C. to play the Nationals, did not align with their game schedule, making a visit with President Trump appear unlikely given no other trips to the capital were planned for the season.

The Dodgers previously celebrated a World Series win with President Trump in April 2025. During that visit, Trump lauded the team and specifically mentioned Shohei Ohtani's "movie star" appearance. Former Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw reflected on that visit as "an incredible honor to get to go see, regardless of who’s in office." He added, “We went in 2021. We went this time. I know there’s been a lot of stuff about, should the Dodgers go? All this stuff. But at the end of the day, getting to go to the White House, getting to see the Oval Office, getting to meet the President of the United States, that’s stuff that you can’t lose sight of, no matter what you believe.”

The team found a window for the July 23rd visit as they have an off day between their series in Philadelphia (July 20–22) and New York (July 24–26).
