Dodgers Face Elimination in NLCS Game 3 Against Brewers
Los Angeles Dodgers trail the Milwaukee Brewers 0-2 in the best-of-seven series and will send Blake Snell to the mound in a must-win Game 3.

The Los Angeles Dodgers return home to Dodger Stadium trailing the Milwaukee Brewers 0-2 in the National League Championship Series. Game 3 is scheduled for Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET, with coverage on FS1.
In Game 2, the Brewers secured a 7-4 victory, rallying from behind three times. Catcher William Contreras played a pivotal role, recording three go-ahead or game-tying hits in the postseason game, a feat last achieved by Sandy Alomar Jr. for Cleveland in the 1997 ALDS.
With their backs against the wall, the Dodgers will start pitcher Blake Snell (4-1, 1.90 ERA) in Game 3. Robert Gasser (5-5, 3.87 ERA) is slated to pitch for the Brewers. Despite a recent hitting slump, the Dodgers have opted to keep Shohei Ohtani in the lineup for Game 3.
Historically, teams that hold a 2-0 lead in a best-of-seven postseason series have gone on to win the series 79 out of 95 times. This puts the Dodgers, who are aiming for a consecutive World Series title, in a challenging position.
Fans without cable can stream the game for free through a five-day trial of DIRECTV's Choice package, which includes FS1 among its 125+ channels. Other scheduled games in the series are Game 4 on Oct. 15, Game 5 on Oct. 16, Game 6 on Oct. 18, and Game 7 on Oct. 19, if necessary. All remaining games are scheduled to be broadcast on FS1, with Game 7 also potentially airing on FOX.
