Dodgers Aim to Extend Lead Over Braves in NLDS Game 2

The Los Angeles Dodgers will host the Atlanta Braves for Game 2 of their National League Division Series matchup on October 4. The game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FS1. The Dodgers lead the series 1-0 after securing a 5-3 victory in Game 1.

In Game 1, Tarik Skubal, a trade deadline acquisition for the Dodgers, started on the mound and recorded seven strikeouts through six innings. Max Muncy, Kyle Tucker, and Teoscar Hernandez all contributed home runs to the Dodgers' win. The series will shift to Atlanta for Games 3 and 4 following tonight's contest.

Historically, teams that establish a 2-0 lead in a best-of-five series have a strong track record, winning 89% of the time (83 out of 93 instances), according to MLB statistics. Conversely, teams that lose the first two games on the road have only managed to win the series three times in 36 opportunities.

Fans seeking to watch the game without cable can utilize a streaming service offering a free trial. DIRECTV is offering a five-day free trial, with a promotion for $30 off the first month. The Choice plan, which includes FS1, is recommended for access to the game and over 125 channels.
