Documentary Alleges Trump Was Framed in Russia Collusion Hoax
A new Fox Nation series claims the Steele dossier was a weaponized tool used by political opponents to falsely accuse Donald Trump of colluding with Russia.
A new three-part documentary series on Fox Nation, titled "Russia! Russia! Russia! The Plot to Stop Trump," alleges that the narrative of Donald Trump colluding with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election was a fabricated scheme orchestrated by Hillary Clinton's campaign.
The documentary, set to premiere on October 12, 2026, reportedly draws on newly disclosed government records and declassified documents to support its claims. According to the series, the Steele dossier, a collection of intelligence reports alleging ties between Trump and Russia, was developed with financing from the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. This dossier was then allegedly funneled to the FBI, CIA, Department of Justice, and sympathetic journalists.
Gregg Jarrett, a Fox News legal analyst and commentator, argues in an accompanying opinion piece that the alleged plot was designed to distract from Clinton's own email scandal and the handling of Russian funds by her foundation. He posits that without credible evidence, Trump was convicted in the court of public opinion by Democrats and elements of the press.
The documentary's first episode, "Steele Trap," reportedly details how CIA Director John Brennan informed then-President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden about the dossier. Handwritten notes from meetings purportedly confirm this.<br>
Episode two, "Insurance Agent," is said to focus on the role of then-FBI Agent Peter Strzok, who led the investigation into Trump. The documentary claims Strzok's text messages revealed anti-Trump bias and that his communications suggested the investigation served as an "insurance policy" against a Trump presidency.
"Trick or Treat," the third episode, reportedly examines efforts to obtain a warrant to spy on Trump and investigates allegations of a secret computer server in Trump Tower. The series contends that intelligence agencies, under orders from the outgoing administration, altered key intelligence to implicate Trump as a Russian asset.
The documentary asserts that special counsel Robert Mueller's 22-month investigation failed to find evidence of collusion, concluding that "there was never a Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy. There was, however, an elaborate conspiracy to falsely accuse him of collusion. Trump was set up and framed."
The series aims to present a comprehensive account of what it describes as "staggering corruption and abuses of power at the highest levels of government."
