Disneyland guests experienced significant disruptions Tuesday evening when a citywide water pressure outage in Anaheim, California, led to the temporary closure of restrooms and restaurants throughout the park.

The outage, which began around 6 p.m. PDT, also impacted Angel Stadium and other local businesses. City officials attributed the problem to technical issues with several groundwater wells, which normally supply about 75% of Anaheim's water.

Disneyland confirmed the temporary impact on its operations, stating that its team worked quickly to manage the situation for guests. The City of Anaheim reported that the water pressure issue was resolved around 8 p.m. local time, with no ongoing concerns.

Guests described the situation as chaotic, with some expressing frustration over the inconvenience. "Most guests understood it was out of Disney’s hands, while others were upset [over] the inconvenience," one guest told KTLA.

Social media reactions highlighted the unexpected nature of the closures, with one Reddit user noting that "all restaurants and restrooms are closed." Another commenter called the situation "almost unimaginable."

While the disruption was short-lived, some visitors indicated they would seek refunds. The incident at Disneyland occurred weeks after a separate water shortage in California led to the closure of public restrooms along a major highway in the Gaviota area.
