A casual review of old family photographs has led to a peculiar discovery that has captured the attention of internet users. While sorting through her grandfather's collection of vintage Disneyland snapshots from the 1960s, Josie Weaver noticed a man in one photo who appeared strikingly out of place.

The photograph, taken in the vicinity of New Orleans Square, shows a crowd of parkgoers from the era. Amidst the men typically dressed in short-sleeved collared shirts and slacks, one individual stands out. He is depicted wearing a fitted navy crewneck t-shirt, sunglasses, and carrying a crossbody sling bag. His hairstyle, described as a side fade, also contributed to the unusual appearance.

Weaver, who shared the discovery on TikTok, told People magazine that the man looked "so different to everyone around him, especially with his haircut."

The discovery was made while Weaver was assisting her 84-year-old grandfather with selling an old camera. Together, they unearthed a collection of undeveloped film, which they later projected to view the images.

Following Weaver's TikTok post, which garnered millions of views, online speculation flourished. Some viewers suggested the man was indeed a time traveler, with one comment proposing the existence of a "time traveling portal" at the Anaheim park.

Others offered more conventional explanations, suggesting the man might have been European or simply a trendsetter whose fashion choices were ahead of his time. "People did own shirts and sunglasses in the 60s," one commenter pointed out, while another added that the look was "just a basic casual look for the time."

Weaver's family reportedly dismissed her speculation as "dramatic," viewing the photo simply as a memento of a past vacation. The image nonetheless offers a glimpse into Disneyland's early years, shortly after its opening.
