Toni Kulusich, a 27-year-old Disneyland enthusiast and content creator, is defending her consistent interactions with performers portraying Peter Pan, a behavior that has drawn criticism online and accusations of stalking. Kulusich, who posts her experiences on platforms like TikTok, told WIRED that her visits are a way to "release my inner child" and that she is "not doing anything wrong."

Kulusich, who describes herself as a "Disney adult," has garnered millions of views for videos showing her frequent trips to the park and her engagement with Peter Pan characters. Critics have labeled her behavior as "creepy" and obsessive, leading to online harassment that has impacted her mental health and even led to her workplace address being leaked, forcing her employer to adjust her hours for security reasons.

"If people are going to hate on me, I’m not going to let it stop me. Because I know I’m not doing anything wrong," Kulusich stated. She noted that her husband is supportive of her content and that her focus on Peter Pan is confined to her time within Disneyland, not impacting her job as a big-box retail store manager.

One of the performers Kulusich has interacted with spoke out in her defense, stating that while her actions made him "a little awkward and uncomfortable," they never crossed any boundaries. He urged an end to the online harassment directed at her, emphasizing that she is "doing nothing wrong."

Kulusich claims that online critics have exaggerated her interactions. She told WIRED that she has only met with a Peter Pan performer seven times during her last 30 visits to Disney parks. However, she acknowledged that the characters are aware of her and that she believes she shares a "special friendship" with Peter Pan. She admitted that the online backlash has taken a significant toll on her mental well-being.

Despite the controversy, Kulusich has continued to visit Disneyland and has recently returned after a brief hiatus. She shared that during her last visit, a Peter Pan performer told her to "never stop visiting Neverland."
