A police chase through the streets of Los Angeles took a bizarre turn when the suspect, a dirt bike rider, pulled over at a gas station to refuel. The incident occurred in South Los Angeles, with police pursuing the individual believed to be armed.
During the pursuit, the rider was observed racing through traffic, at times driving off-road and dangerously close to pedestrians. At one point, the suspect stopped at a Chevron gas station. After fueling the bike, the rider sped away, tearing a piece of the pump mechanism as they fled.
Video footage captured the suspect using a cellphone during the chase. The pursuit continued through various parts of Los Angeles County before concluding. The suspect's actions, including stopping for gas mid-chase, were described as a "wild moment" by observers.
